In 1945 Pablo Picasso created 'Bull' which is a series of eleven lithographs that have become a masterclass in how to move an artwork from the academic to the completely abstract. In this series of images Picasso visually dissects the image of a bull to reveal its essential presence through a progressive analysis of its form. Each lithograph is a successive stage in an investigation to find the absolute 'spirit' of the beast.

This piece was an attempt to reduce the human gaze to its absolute minimum using simple 3D elements.
